What needs?
Talua never has enough ni-Vanuatu human resources to teach all its courses. Are you an expert in particular field of Biblical Studies, Church History, Theology, or Study Skills?
What skills?
Masters in a field of Biblical Studies / Theology and ability to communicate clearly to an ESL audience.
Where?
Talua now has a zoom classroom, so in the past 12 months, we’ve had guest lecturers join us for just 1 hour on a topic of expertise, but we’ve also had guest lecturers teach 6 hours every week over zoom, running and marking whole courses from the comfort of their own home.
But if the COVID pandemic has taught us anything, it is that nothing beats face to face! We love having pastor scholars visit us here to teach and train.
How Long?
1 hour to 3+ years! We sometimes have a pastor/scholar join us for a one hour community lecture, sometimes a one week intensive, sometimes a sabbatical length term, and we love having long term residential missionary pastor scholars living, ministering, and teaching at Talua.
We are developing a list of interested pastor/scholars who would be interested in being approached about guest lecturing on zoom for anything between one topic to one whole term - let us know if you would be interested in be on this list.
